By this letter we certify that our SYTEC® shrink films comply with the requirements and regulations which state that materials may be safely used in food contact and non-food applications. This certification includes the following film types: 101, 307S, 701, MVP, 701-AF, and RF4-AF all of which are marketed under the SYTEC® brand name.
The relevant specifications are described in the code of Federal Regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Title 21 para. 177.1520 and in the EC Commission Directive No. 90/128/EEC Official Journal of European Communities, No. L75/19.
Syfan SYTEC® shrink films contain no CFC's nor any residues of the heavy metals Sb, Cr, As, Pb, Ba, Cd, Ag, Se. These films do not contain phthalates nor are these materials used during any phase of our production.
The gas generated during sealing of SYTEC® shrink films is comprised of hydrocarbon derivatives of the pure raw material and contains no harmful substances, irritants, or chlorine derivatives.
In addition, we hereby certify that Syfan shrink films contain no genetically modified materials or derivatives thereof.
The Syfan plant and headquarters have been ISO registered since June 1994. The current certification is ISO-9001/2000.
